ANOTHER WILLOW DAY

Since our animals are on a willow diet for one part of the study, we have to collect a huge amount of willow leaves every day. So we take our nice little university truck (I don't wanna talk about how much gas this thing is waisting. Nor you wanna know about the black exhaust that makes us choking and poople keeping a distance from the truck...) Betsy drivingSearching for some nice leaves and stripe them all offThe leaves are stored in cold water, this way they stay fresh for a couple of days

yummy! :-)

SUMMER SOLSTICE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Well if you live in Alaska and it's dark for almost half a year you really have a reason to celebrate the longest day of the year. So that's the reason for the Summer Solstice Music Festival that took place on the 21th of June in Fairbanks Downtown. Downtown isn't too big though and the music didn't make me want to dance but it was worth to go there anyway :-)
